Last week, I reviewed e.l.f.’s mineral primer after finally being able to purchase the brand at my nearest Target Canada location. I mentioned in that post I scooped up a bunch of products to try, so today I’m sharing my review of their Studio Flawless Finish Foundation.
I’m always looking to try new foundations – my combo skin is a bit of a pain to work with, and while my favourite discovery to date has been Make Up For Ever’s Mat Velvet + Matifying Foundation, I can’t always shell out $40+ for it (a girl’s gotta eat!). So, I often find myself heading down to the drugstore to look for dupes and alternatives that will work for my skin.
e.l.f.’s Flawless Finish foundation promises a semi-matte finish that’s smooth and lightweight. It’s an oil-free formula that also has SPF 15 to protect against the sun (I wouldn’t rely on SPF 15, though, if you’re concerned about sun damage), and sells for $8.00 at Target so it’s definitely more budget-friendly than my preferred MUFE product.
