Thanksgiving has come and gone, and unless you’re crazy for Halloween it’s safe to say Christmas is creeping up on us faster than you can say “mistletoe.” I, personally, am loving it. Holiday releases from beauty brands are dropping left, right and centre, allowing makeup junkies far and wide to rejoice and promptly empty their wallets. This post will definitely enable such behaviour – apologies in advance.
Benefit Cosmetics always releases a range of gift sets and mini-palettes that make great presents and treats for yourself. They’re perfect for trying out a range of products at a price that’s budget-conscious so you can determine if you want to commit to something full-size. Today, I have three of the holiday releases to share with you, all under $60!
Real Cheeky Party – $54, Sephora exclusive
This is a perfect gift for the blush fiend in your life (even that’s you). Containing five of Benefit’s leading box ‘o powders (including cult-fave Hoola), a highlighter, and travel size They’re Real! mascara and liner, it’s perfect for every occasion and introduces you to some of their best-selling products.
Life Of The Party! – $47, Sephora exclusive
Did someone say champagne? Get the perfect party look with this super handy set, or give it to a friend to show them a range of products from Benefit for completing their makeup from primer to pout. With mini-versions of POREfessional, They’re Real! mascara, Benetint (for cheeks and lips), a Dandelion/Rockateur split pan, Longwear powder shadow in Taupe It Off, Nude Swings and Call My Buff and applicators, everything needed for a party-ready face is in here.
Party Poppers – $58, Sephora exclusive
Finally, the mother of the three gift sets – Party Poppers. Benefit brings you the 12 days of Christmas with a beauty spin on a traditional advent calendar filled with minis from all aspects of their products, from makeup to skincare! Admittedly, the price feels a bit steep considering the size of everything you’re getting, but if you’re looking for something that would suit a beauty lover in your life and has a lot of nice touches (for example, it plays music when you open it, with a little Benefit version of the 12 Days of Christmas – incredible) this isn’t a bad idea.
(tell me that doesn’t look like Olivia Wilde!)
So there you have it – holiday offerings from Benefit are as perfect as ever. Are you lusting after any?
