It’s here – the last month of 2014. This also means the holidays are in full swing here in Toronto, and my calendar certainly reflects that!
Tonight, I’m off to see Alan Cumming at the TIFF Bell Lightbox as part of their In Conversation With… series. He’s promoting his new memoir, Not My Father’s Son, and I’m quite looking forward to it. All I really want to know is if he’s down for Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion 2 (Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow are both in!).
Then, I’m heading to the One of a Kind Christmas Show & Sale to peruse the aisles of artisans offering up their handmade goods. While I tend to do more window shopping than actual shopping, I have a few final folks on my Christmas list I’d love to cross off – and I always come home with some treats from the food vendors. It’s on until December 7, so if you haven’t gone to check it out get there this week!
I’ve also got the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert in store (eek!), a mini-getaway to Ottawa with Brad and a few social gatherings over the next few weeks. I’ll be making a point to stop by the Shop.ca Toronto Christmas Market for some mulled wine and Christmas caroling of course – it’s a must-see and do.
Add work into the mix and before you know it, it’s going to be the big day. I can’t believe we’re almost upon the new year as well…time to start giving some thought to those 2015 goals. I have a few big ones in mind.
Lots of beauty and style posts coming for the week, including a seriously amazing new product from Nivea, a style post featuring some great Canadian designers and brands, new eyeshadows from Maybelline, and more.
