It’s no secret I’m a liquid liner junkie, so when Revlon shared samples of their latest offering I got very excited. I’ve already covered off how I’m always looking for new options, and drugstore brands are particularly exciting to try out because they’re affordable and when they perform, it makes them that much sweeter.
Revlon’s Colorstay Skinny Liquid Liner is made to last all-day offering highly pigmented colour and exact precision with its 0.1 mm applicator tip. The result? Easy application allowing you to master whatever look you’re going for (like a cat-eye).
I often find drugstore liquid liner to be underwhelming since usually it either flakes off or fades as the day goes on, but Revlon’s given us a product we can rely on to stand the test of time & weather at a price that’s easy on our pocketbooks.
It takes some getting used to if you’re like me and prefer more flexible brushes, but the stiffer applicator is great if you want more control or have a less-than-steady hand.
It currently comes in two shades – Black Out and Mahogany Flame. Black of course is a safe bet, but the brown is a really nice way to add bold definition to your eye makeup without it being too harsh. Brown also complements blue very well, so if you’re blue-eyed like me it’s a really nice way to make ’em pop!
Top – Black Out
Bottom – Mahogany Flame
At just $10.95 CAD these are an excellent find if you’re looking for an affordable liquid liner that offers plenty of flexibility & intense colour. I’ll definitely be adding Mahogany Flame to my mix of go-to products when I want something a little softer!
