It’s been said that beauty starts from within, and we all know that one of the major keys to overall well-being is a healthy intake of water every day. Ever since I learned all about the concept of clean eating, I’ve always been really good about my water intake, ensuring I get at least two litres every day.
Having adopted this habit and maintaining it for the last several years, it’s easy for me to spot the negative effects when I don’t hit my 2 litre mark. I see it in my skin, feel it all over in my energy levels and mood, and particularly spot things like tired looking eyes.
The easiest way to stay on top of hydration in my experience is to have a large water bottle handy and an accessible water source readily available. I recently had a chance to experience the Strauss WaterBar system at an event and let me tell you, it’s essentially the epitome of a quality water source. A stylish appliance that is perfectly at home in an office or your kitchen, it provides an all-in-one solution that replaces your tap, bottled water, cooler, and kettle. It provides purified water at the touch of a button, and you can enjoy it cold, warm or boiling hot almost instantly. It looks beautiful on a kitchen counter and would definitely make keeping hydrated easy!
At the event, we heard from cooking expert Camille Moore (as seen on The Social) who shared some incredible tips and recipes for making hydration a little easier while keeping it healthy. We all know water is the most important thing to drink, but it can also be the most boring (I’ll be the first to admit I’d rather drink wine over a glass of water!), so infused water and customized herbal tea mixtures can be easy ways to keep things interesting. She shared a particularly wonderful Lemon & Ginger water infusion recipe that I plan to add to the bottom of this post as soon as it lands in my inbox – I’ve been dreaming about it since the event!
We also enjoyed all-natural manicures from Liberty Village’s Cures Studio and product demonstrations from Trinitae, a line of natural body care products from the Jordan Valley. Each aspect of the event really demonstrated the power of water in all of our beauty regimes and how important it is to stay hydrated and turn to natural products more often!
The Strauss WaterBar is definitely a high-end luxury appliance, with the T6 model retailing for $1,199 and the T7 retailing for $1,399 upfront. That said, they have monthly payment plans starting at around $40 that include delivery, filter replacements, a lifetime warranty and more benefits if you’re seriously considering something like this for your home or office. Above all, they really highlighted the importance of water in all aspects of health and wellness and showed how we can all better incorporate it into our daily lives!
