I’m back! After a little blogging hiatus to enjoy my holidays and work on some behind-the-scenes things, I’m back up and running for 2015.
New years are easily one of my favourite things. It’s so cliche, but you just can’t ignore the opportunity to view January 1 as a fresh start – to take what you’ve learned from the previous year(s), fantasize and dream about what could come for the next 12 months, and spend some time focusing on things you’d like to work on, change, do or see. I know resolutions can be viewed as silly or a waste of time, but I wholeheartedly support them. If you can’t sit down and map out some targets at the end of a calendar year, when else can you?
Normally this is where I’d write a long list of things I’ve put down as resolutions, but I’m going to keep the specifics to myself – above all, each of my goals is tied to this blog, my health, my career and my relationships and I’m sure yours are the same.
I’ve got a lot to look forward to this year – my older sister’s wedding, the growth of my blog and career, redecorating and working on making my little apartment a real home, and so much more. I’m in an interesting place at the moment with a few path options in front of me, and I’m excited to see where my heart takes me.
Here’s to a fresh start, a new year and a happy 2015!
