I’m all for splurging on makeup, but sometimes it just isn’t in the budget. Finding products that are both inexpensive and able to perform can be a challenge, but certain brands deliver and make growing a makeup collection guilt-free.
I tried Wet n Wild’s Megalast Lip Color recently after I had received them before Valentine’s Day – I’ll admit, I wasn’t sure what to expect since I’m pretty picky about lipstick, but this was love at first swipe.
Three shades were in front of me to swatch – Cherry Picking, Don’t Blink Pink and Think Pink. All actually make perfect spring shades now that the weather is finally turning. I tried Think Pink first, and was actually so impressed with the product. Cherry Picking and Don’t Blink Pink both looked amazing – I was officially convinced this was a home-run product.
Don’t Blink Pink
Cherry Picking (my personal fave!)
For starters, the lipstick glides on smooth and creamy – it’s highly pigmented, hydrating but still gives a slight matte finish which I love. Each shade really popped against my fair skin, and I think could work for so many skin tones.
The absolute best part about this product? Each tube will only run you $3.99! Cheap and cheerful? I think so. Run, don’t walk, to stock your makeup bag with these babies!
